When we follow the developments in the world, we see that particularly the digital marketing strategies combine with technology. The understanding is no more like let’s make bulk purchases and display our ads x million times as in the past. This is a journey, and we see examples of this in our country, but we are still in the beginning of this journey. We, as MediaMarkt Turkey and SEM, endeavor to be a pioneer in this and we plan accordingly.

Objective

 

To bring the advantages of Black Friday, the first thought when it comes to discounted shopping, to the wide masses through different channels. To announce the Black Friday special discounts of various products to the Yandex Navigation users through the Digital Billboard (Ghost Pins), one of the most preferred ad models of Yandex Navigation, within the scope of the project launched by MediaMarkt Turkey, MediaMarkt’s Performance Marketing Agency SEM and Yandex Navigation.

MediaMarkt Turkey reached out to the users of Yandex Navigation with the Digital Billboard (Ghost Pins) ad model on some certain routes, and reminded of the brand by announcing Black Friday special discounts to the wide masses.

Using the Digital Billboard (Ghost Pins) ad model of Yandex Navigation, MediaMarkt reached out to its target audience with the new banner design containing the “Fantastic Friday” message and discount rates. After setting a route, Yandex Navigation users automatically viewed the MediaMarkt ad throughout their journey. MediaMarkt campaign was consisted of 2 phases, and continued for a total of 6 days. Calculating the ad display, ad click and ad click rates, MediaMarkt achieved its target by using the Digital Billboard (Ghost Pins) ad model of Yandex Navigation. Also reminding of the brand while announcing the Black Friday special discount rates to the wide masses, MediaMarkt Turkey has a successful campaign with the Performance Marketing Agency SEM and Yandex Navigation.
